You can offer others help with writing by teaching continuing education classes. Freelance writing can give you the flexibility to go to school or raise a family or work at home. You need to learn how to be a professional writer, this means you will have to write whether you feel like it or not. This is the difference between a professional writer and an "aspiring" writer or someone who writes for enjoyment as a hobby. Learning how to be a freelance writer will require that you seek out the work you'll get paid for. You will have to make calls to editors or people you do not know and ask for work. You'll need to overcome your fear of asking for work. The ability to work at home for some will be inspiration enough to overcome this anxiety.

No matter what your desire, if you want to get paid to write, start learning now how to make the changes in your life that will get you closer to your goal.

And don't forget to write.
